Upcycling Workshop
Learn from local crafter and upcycler Denise Corcoran (Thrifty By Design and Crafting With Crap) how to transform discarded wine corks into fun and funky garden decorations! This two hour workshop provides guests of all ages with the crafting supplies and artistic guidance needed to turn a wine cork into garden plant markers or a whimsical decorative fairy house.

Get to know nature on the North Shore through a variety of hands-on activities for all ages. Learn about local trees through archival documents and a scent matching game or get up close with fake poop (this is not a scent matching game). Discover how understanding the local environment can help us protect the planet!

Streetcar Stories
Drop into our museum lobby to visit Streetcar 153 and hear stories from its colourful past. From the early days of public transit to World War II and the advent of buses and cars, our interpreter will introduce you to some of the people who worked on and rode the streetcars, and the impact they had on North Vancouver’s changing community.

Join us for a guided gallery tour in MONOVA’s Main Exhibit Gallery. Explore North Vancouver through photographs, artifacts and stories of the people who have called these lands their home since time immemorial.
